and The Ohio State University, 1995. Victor J. Mayer and Rosanne W. Fortner, authors. |
Description
This is the book that defines the mission,
content and methods of Earth Systems Education, a way of looking at
science
that makes the subject relevant to students and brings it into focus
with
interdisciplinary teaching/learning about Earth events and
chracteristics.
The book was designed to help teachers determine whether ESE fits their classroom needs, and how to go about restructuring their science program at the lesson, unit, or full curriculum level. Input from teachers, science educators in colleges, and geoscientists has combined to make this a valuable How-to reference.
